April 7, 2009 | LOGAN--The pretrial conference for
William David Hart was rescheduled for April 22 in 1st
District Court because of pending charges.
Hart, 42, was charged with aggravated sexual abuse
of a child after an incident that occurred while he
was awaiting sentencing another similar crime. The pretrial
conference was postponed so the court could handle all
charges at the same time.
In February, Hart pleaded guilty to inappropriately
touching two young girls and was awaiting his sentencing
March 30. Before the sentencing, he was caught touching
another young girl at the Logan Deseret Industries.
Hart has been on the Utah Sex Offender Registry since
1990 and has had several previous convictions, including
lewdness involving a child.
