April 23, 2009 | PARADISE -- Sheriff's deputies were
called out to Paradise April 13, to help settle a civil
dispute between several boys on ATV’s riding on the
street and an adult that threw gravel at them.
Chief Deputy Dave Bennett said the boys were driving
faster than the man thought they should be going and
the man threw gravel to slow the boys down.
“New state ordinances allow ATV’s to be ridden on
streets in towns of 7,000 or less, so there wasn’t a
problem there,” Bennett said.
Both parties were talked to, but no charges were filed.
