| SAAVI
invites volunteers to assess website
By USU Media Relations & Marketing
January 14, 2008 | Volunteers are needed to assess the
effectiveness of Utah State University's Sexual Assault
and Anti-Violence Information office Web
site. Students, faculty and staff are invited to
participate in focus groups later this month to discuss
what works -- and what doesn't.
"We're seeking people to give honest feedback
on our Web site and help us serve the campus better,"
says Rachel Brighton, SAAVI coordinator.
Focus groups will be at the USU Student Health and
Wellness Center located just north of Romney Stadium
at 850 E. 1200 North. The center is accessible from
the main campus via the Aggie Shuttle Stadium Express.
Each focus group gathering, from 12:30 to 2 p.m.,
will be geared to a specific population. A focus group
for staff will be Jan. 29; a focus group for students
will be January 30; and a group for faculty is Jan.
31.
Ten to 15 participants are needed for each group and
all participants receive a free lunch during their session.
Participants in each session have the opportunity to
win a $25 gift card at the end of each gathering.
Pre-registration is required for participation. To
register, contact Brighton at 797-1510 or saaviinfo@cc.usu.edu.
