Garland woman's arraignment rescheduled for April 14

March 27, 2008 | BRIGHAM CITY -- Arraignment for LeAnn Smith of Garland was postponed for a third time Monday while she seeks legal counsel. Smith, 40, has been charged with seven counts of theft.

According to court documents, three of the charges are second-degree felonies, two of which involve the theft of a firearm or operable motor vehicle. Three additional counts are third-degree felonies, and the seventh is a Class B misdemeanor.

The arraignment has been rescheduled for April 14 in Box Elder County's 1st District Court, under Judge Ben Hadfield.
