AM CURIOUS (MAGENTA):
Krishna Temple in Spanish Fork had its annual
Holi Festival of Colors last weekend -- and 10,000
people showed up. The lighting of a bonfire signaled
everyone to throw fuscia, yellow, and magenta
flour at each other. Holi has roots in Hindu sacred
stories. Temple priest Caru Das said the festival
symbolizes spring banishing winter.
