Cornish accepts bid for water project

March 1, 2006 | CORNISH -- The Town Council accepted a bid Thursday from Allied Construction for a new water project.

The project will begin approximately 30 days after snow melts off the mountains and should take 60 days to complete said Amy Murphy, town recorder. The water project will cost $179,222.91. Of the three bidders Allied Construction was chosen because it bid the lowest.
