Wellsville's corn maze if you like to experience deja
vu
By Lukas Brinkerhoff
October 26, 2007 | WELLSVILLE -- "I think we've already
been here," Abby Yerka said at least a dozen times Wednesday
night while trying to escape from the American West
Heritage Center's corn maze.
"After wondering around for what at times seems like
forever, there is quite the feeling of accomplishment
as you finally get out of the maze," said Yerka. She
also said it was frustrating to pass the same place
a million times and also to see others coming the opposite
direction, only to pass them again a few minutes later.
The corn maze is located on Highway 89 en route to
Wellsville from Logan. It is open from 10 a.m. to 10
p.m. until Oct. 30. In addition to the maze, the Heritage
Center has hot chocolate and other goodies available
as well as hay rides starting at 6 p.m.
If you plan to go, make sure you are prepared with
a jacket and a flashlight. There are lights in the maze
but only in certain places, and it can get dark. It
is also recommended to take a map from the cash desk.
The Heritage Center charges $7 for adults and $5 for
students, seniors and children.
Yerka said,"It was fun, I'd go again."
