What they have in common, besides
an uncanny ability to teach, is the
title Carnegie Professor. Eight people
at Utah State University have earned
this distinguished, national teaching
award, named for the 19th century
industrialist and philanthropist Andrew
Carnegie. The entire state gets only
one per year. Eight of the last 13
have come from USU.
